5/26/01 It is with regret that we announce the closure of Pentrel. During the last several months, the state of the economy has affected us harshly. The rate of bad customer debt soared to the point where our receivables did not come close to covering operating expenses. If this situation had occurred at any other time, we may have been able to continue. However, the economy being what it is, it is no longer possible for a company such as ours to easily obtain investment capital in order to offset operating expenses. We have, however, found a great provider that will continue to deliver the hosting services you have come to depend on. IWVISP, of Ridgecrest California, will be handling all matters of customer service and billing for services previously provided by Pentrel, Planet Mud, and rightshop.net from now on.
